Toya Bungkah Natural Hot Spring

Toya Bungkah Hot Spring  is located in Batur Village which is located at the foot of Mount Batur or on west side of Batur Lake that is around 10 minute from Kedisan Village. From Bangli City to achieve Toya Bungkah around 30 minute or 60 minute from Denpasar and 90 minute from Ngurah Rai International Airport.  Along the road to Toya Bungkah we will be enjoy the panoramic views of the beautiful of Batur Mount and Lake, Jackfruit trees and other plants also can see the beautiful rocks from lava. On east highway to Toya Bungkah there is Jati Temple.

Toya Bungkah Hot Spring is tourism destination that has hot springs source, which are used for health because can cure diseases especially skin diseases. Hot Spring was accommodated in a small pond which is located besides of Batur Lake. From distance looks beautiful view where from north east of Batur Lake looked Trunyan Village and surrounded by green hills area. Toya Bungkah has cool weather so make comfortable the visitors who come, not only domestic tourist also foreign tourist visited Toya Bungkah.

Toya Bungkah as a tourism destination has been equipped with two large parking areas on west and north side. There also public facilities such as hotel, restaurant, toilets. On the edge of Batur Lake or around Toya Bungkah there is a place commonly used for camping and can be found Toya Bungkah Art Center, Toya Bungkah Art Center was built by Sutan Takdir Ali Syahbana. Based on its name, Toya Bungkah is derived the word “Toya” which meaning as water and “Bungkah” is means rock. So, Toya Bungkah is means flowing water from rock crevices from the foot of Mount Batur.

Toya Bungkah has two hot spring pools that is a natural hot spring because according to the natural circumstances so make the hot spring is harmoniously with natural environment that used as a public bath and local people from Toya Bungkah. West side of this pool there are a pelinggih. Meanwhile the other hot spings is in the west. This hot springs specifically only used as public bathing places for foreign tourist.
